Rick Larimore, Substitute Teacher
I was born and raised in the Midwest, coming to California as a teenager. I attended Canoga Park High School, Pierce College and Cal State Northridge while residing in the San Fernando Valley. While in college, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and yielded my life to Him. I returned to school in 2012 to pursue a teaching credential and graduated from the Master’s College in 2006 with a degree in education.
I have been a youth and children’s worker for the past 40 years after majoring in Recreation at CSUN. Currently, in addition to teaching Kindergarten, I head up the high school program at my church in Northridge. Recently, I began coaching track and cross country at Chaminade High School in West Hills.
I have been married to my wife, Kin, for 33 years. We have two boys, R J (25) and Cody (20). R J is a web designer for New Egg. Cody is a junior at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is studying Business and Computer Science.
