Mrs. Iris Hollifield
Director and Teacher atsince 2001
My name is Iris Hollifield and I am the Director for
our preschool and Kindergarten at the Sloan
Canyon Christian Academy.
I am married to Pastor Ray Hollifield, Associate
Pastor at Sloan Canyon FWB Church. We have
been blessed with two children and now a couple
of wonderful grand children.

I have been so blessed to see our church and school grow as we have daily received
God’s blessings and favors. I can hardly believe that ten years have already gone by.
It is so exciting to be part of God’s work. I ask that you pray for our staff as we serve
your families this new school year.

Mrs. Janet Bartlett
Teacher / Director since 2004
Married to Pastor Keith Bartlett, we have three
children and two beautiful grandchildren. In 1998
God placed a real burden on our hearts to plant a
church and Preschool in Castaic.
God has really blessed our ministry and we are
thrilled to be here to continue His work.

Mr. Rick Larimore
Kindergarten teacher joined us in 2005
I have been married to my wife, Kin, for
twenty-seven years. We have two boys, R J (20)
and Cody (16). Currently, in addition to teaching
Kindergarten at Sloan Canyon, I head up the
middle school program at my church in Northridge.
I also am Head Coach for basketball, track and
cross country at West Ranch High School.

Mrs. Trisha Parson
Preschool teacher joined us 2008
My Husband Mark and I have been married for 16
years. We have no children, but we have a great
dog, Lucky.
I began teaching in Preschool at 19 years old and
have really enjoyed it. I've been a Special
Education Aide, substitute teacher and a high
school teacher.
